A Muslim-Jewish gay couple from Tel Aviv fight to become fathers in this modern-day Romeo and Juliet story that is set against the backdrop of rising prejudice. The film follows Khader and Aviv whose dreams of starting a family are threatened by endless and growing obstacles. Along their journey they meet a costly hero in the form of Azanet – a struggling beautician from Texas who agrees to carry their baby.
